About project

In facilitating participatory implementation cycle, monitoring and oversight with regard to demand driven investments in basic infrastructure and services in selected qishloqs (villages) in Namangan region (Phase-1). IDA Credit 6502-UZ. Part of assignment within Phase-2 of the Project.

The RIDP is implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MoEF) with financing from the World Bank (WB) and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). The development objective of the RIDP is to (i) improve the quality of basic infrastructure and (ii) strengthen participatory local governance processes in 13 villages (MCAs) in Chust district of Namangan region selected within the Phase-2 of the Project.

Description of actual services provided in the assignment:

  1. Preparation and completion of Qishloq Development Plans (QDPs) for 13 MCAs selected within the Phase-2.
  2. Forming and training of Community Participatory Monitoring Teams, MDU refresher trainings, completion of first round of Social Audits for for 13 MCAs selected within the Phase-2.
  3. Conducting refresher trainings for Community Participatory Monitoring Team and MDU, and completion of second round of Social Audits for for 13 MCAs selected within the Phase-2.
  4. Conducting of Third round of social audits, assessment of MDU, and completion of Final Project Implementation Report.
