As a result of implementation of Support to Development of Oncology Services Project in the Republic of Uzbekistan, Phase-1. UZB-063 the funds in the amount of US$ 12.4 mln. have been saved. The savings have been forwarded for equipping of 10,000 bed medical facility in the Tashkent Region to treat COVID-19 infected patients.

The scope of the project includes:

1. Monitoring the supply of medical equipment, ensuring the compliance of the equipment supplied with the contract specifications;
2. Assisting the Client in reviewing the payment documents submitted by the Supplier and ensuring that the payment is made as per IsDB disbursement guidelines.Description of actual services provided in the assignment:
   1. Monitoring the implementation of contract for the supply of equipment, including, monitoring of timely delivery, payments to the Supplier and supervision of installation of equipment;

   Preparation and submission of project progress reports to the Client.
