The economy of the region is mostly prevailed by mining, metal mining, chemical industry, industry of construction materials, specialized in mining of gold, silver, uranium, production of mineral fertilizers, nitron fiber, herbicides and pesticides, super phosphate, cement etc. The first free industrial-economic zone (FIEZ) in Uzbekistan was created in Navoi in 2008. At present, Navoi FIEZ offers foreign investors a wide range of opportunities for doing business and initially endows them with great competitive advantages. Administration of Navoi region takes active steps in attracting foreign investors into the region by conducting PR and marketing activities with the purpose of distributing information about the investment potential of the region and FIEZ.

Description of actual services provided in the assignment:

1. Economic analyses of the region and its potential;
2. Surveys and interviews with local and foreign investors, government officials;
3. Perpetration of investment plan for different industrial sectors for the region administration;
4. Preparation of content of the document in internationally comprehensive format;
5. Preparation of the investment booklet in paperback edition, on CDs and video-presentation both in Russian and English;
6. Distribution of paperback edition to Embassies, missions, foreign companies, banks and potential investors in Uzbekistan and abroad.

Preparing, setting up and training administration officers in procedures of attracting investors, communication and distribution of information to foreign investors.
