By equipping the Republican Cardiology Center with medical equipment, which will allow better diagnosis of diseases, which is the core of the treatment process.

Description of actual services provided in the assignment:

1. Development of technical specifications of the purchased equipment with ensuring its “neutrality”, i.e. no attachment to any particular equipment model.
2. Assisting the Client in conducting all stages of the bidding process, starting with the preparation of the announcement for the bids, ending with the award of the contract with the preparation of the draft contracts in accordance with the procedures of the KfW. All equipment originally planned for purchase was purchased through two ICBs. In addition, seven types of medical equipment were purchased from the saved project funds.
3. Monitoring the implementation of contracts for the supply of equipment, including technical supervision of the preparation of premises for the installation of equipment, monitoring of timely delivery, payments to suppliers and supervision of installation of equipment.
4. Preparation and submission of regular project progress reports to the Client.
